TULIP SEASON IN HOLLAND - Amazing Pics There is nothing like spring and flowers blooming to make everyone feel better. Imagine being in Holland where millions of tulips are blooming in all different colors. What a sight. The fields are bright with rows of color and the aerial views are stunning. Red, pink, purple, orange and yellow tulips are all grown. I would love to walk through the rows of color. Tulips have always been one of my favorite flowers. Tulips are a huge commercial operation for Holland. They have been growing them since in the mid 1700's. They produce more than 3 billion tulips and 9 million bulbs a year. If you ever visit the Netherlands you can tour commercial gardens of tulips during springtime when they bloom. Once the flowers are done blooming they plow the fields and plant vegetables.
